Textualist
Textualism is a formalisttheory in which the interpretation of the text is based primarily on the ordinarymeaning of the legal text at the time of its enactment, where little consideration is given to non-textualsources, such as the intention of the law when passed, the problem it was intended to remedy, or questions regarding the justice or rectitude of the law.
