The Syilx (Salishan pronunciation:) people, also known as the Okanagan, Suknaqinx, Swknaqínx, or Okinagan people, are a First Nations and Native American people whose traditional territory spans the Canada–US boundary in Washington state and unceded British Columbia in the Okanagan Country region.
