Stachyurus

Stachyurus is the only genus in the flowering plantfamilyStachyuraceae, native to the Himalayas and eastern Asia. They are deciduous shrubs or small trees with pendent racemes of 4-petalled flowers which appear on the bare branches before the leaves.
