Polysuccinimide

Polysuccinimide (PSI), also known as polyanhydroaspartic acid or polyaspartimide, is formed during the thermal polycondensation of aspartic acid and is the simplest polyimide. Polysuccinimide is insoluble in water, but soluble in some aprotic dipolar solvents.
