Pachycetinae

Pachycetinae is an extinct subfamily of basilosauridcetaceans that lived during the middle Eocene. The best-dated remains stem from Bartonian strata, but some finds suggest that they could have first appeared during the Lutetian and may have survived until the Priabonian.
