The Maluku Islands ( ; Indonesian: Kepulauan Maluku, IPA:) or the Moluccas ( ; Dutch: Molukken) are an archipelago in the eastern part of Indonesia. Tectonically they are located on the Halmahera plate within the Molucca Sea Collision Zone.
