The Hesbaye (French, French pronunciation:), or Haspengouw (Dutch and Limburgish, Dutch pronunciation:), is a traditional cultural and geophysical region in eastern Belgium. It is a loamy plateau region which forms a watershed between the Meuse and Scheldtdrainage basins.
