Graptolithina

Graptolites are a group of colonial animals, members of the subclass Graptolithina within the classPterobranchia. These filter-feeding organisms are known chiefly from fossils found from the Middle Cambrian (Miaolingian, Wuliuan) through the Lower Carboniferous (Mississippian).
