Ewedo

Ewedo (born Efabo, reigned c. 1255 – c. 1280) was the fourth Oba ('king') of the Kingdom of Benin. He was born to a woman connected to the royal line but raised among the Ilaje at Ugho‑Mahin before returning to Benin, where he was crowned Oba under the regnal name Ewedo.
