Dextrorphan (DXO) is a psychoactive drug of the morphinan class which acts as an antitussive or cough suppressant and in high doses a dissociativehallucinogen. It is the dextrorotatoryenantiomer of racemorphan; the levorotatory enantiomer is levorphanol.
