The Daylamites or Dailamites (Middle Persian: Daylamīgān; Persian: دیلمیانDeylamiyān) were an Iranian people inhabiting the Daylam—the mountainous regions of northern Iran on the southwest coast of the Caspian Sea, now comprising the southeastern half of Gilan Province.
