Avemetatarsalia

Avemetatarsalia (meaning "bird metatarsals") is a clade of diapsidreptiles containing all archosaurs more closely related to birds than to crocodilians. The two most successful groups of avemetatarsalians were the dinosaurs and pterosaurs.
