Mephibosheth (Biblical Hebrew: מְפִיבֹשֶׁת, romanized: Məp̄īḇošeṯ, also called Meribaal, מְרִיב־בַּעַל, Mərīḇ-Baʻal), or Miphibosheth, was the son of Jonathan and thus a grandson of Saul, the first king of the United Monarchy of Israel and Judah.
