Koliya

Koliya (Pāli: Koliya) was an ancient Indo-Aryanclan of north-eastern South Asia whose existence is attested during the Iron Age. The Koliyas were organised into a gaṇasaṅgha (an aristocraticrepublic), presently referred to as the Koliya Republic.
