In the seventeenth century, several tribes associated with Banu Al-Harith took Tabalah, which was a part of the tribe of Khath'am. Despite the problems between Khath'am and Ghamid, Khath'am asked for assistance from the Hijaz knight Abu Dhahiba bin Jerry al-Ghamdi, who prepared 5 battalions and brought them from Wadi Bisha to Tabalah in a war of response.
