Astraeus

In Greek mythology, Astraeus () or Astraios (Ancient Greek: Ἀστραῖος, romanized: Astraîos, lit.'starry') is the son of Crius and Eurybia and the consort of Eos (goddess of the dawn). He is said to be the father of the winds. Astraeus does not have a big role in mythology, mostly existing to provide genealogy for other figures.
