Assoud

Assoud and Nassur

Assoud was a rabbit who replaced Nahoul, who died of illness due to the blockade in Gaza, as the show's co-host. He introduced himself as a member of the Palestinian diaspora. In explaining why he is called Assoud, when Arnoub would be more appropriate, he said that "a rabbit is a term for a bad person and coward", and that he "will finish off the Jews and eat them". In "Assoud vs Denmark", he addressed the Jyllands-Posten Muhammad cartoons controversy, vowing to assassinate the magazine's illustrators. Assoud was later killed in an airstrike and was succeeded by Nassur, a brown bear, as the show's co-host.
