In Greek mythology, Alcinous (also Alcinoüs; ; Ancient Greek: ἈλκίνοοςAlkínooslit.'mighty mind') was a son of Nausithous and brother of Rhexenor. After the latter's death, he married his brother's daughter Arete who bore him Nausicaa, Halius, Clytoneus and Laodamas.
