bring the cool climate to here, it was planned with new residental areas consists of luxury apartments and villas since its establishment. As a scenic area for living, the ward is also once location of a residendtal area for the journalists which is called as "The village of journalists" (''Làng Báo chí'') in the 70s. Then, some houses in here changed into dormitory for students from Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture located nearby.
