. The statistical area consists of the Shreveport–Bossier City metropolitan statistical area and the Minden micropolitan statistical area. As of the 2010 census, the CSA had a population of 439,000 (though a July 1, 2011, estimate placed the population at 444,000). In 2013, OMB changed statistical definitions, subsuming Minden into the Shreveport metro (and therefore voiding the separate Combined Area);OMB BULLETIN NO. 13-01: Revised Delineations of Metropolitan Statistical Areas, Micropolitan Statistical Areas, and Combined Statistical Areas, and Guidance on Uses of the Delineations of These Areas
