Ivanović started his career in local club KK Joker Podgorica. He then played for
Mornar Bar during the 2010–11 season, averaging 10.1 points, 4.5 assists and 3.8 steals per game. While in Mornar he also averaged 11.3 points, 3.1 assists and 1.5 steals per game during
