The 2021–22 AdmiralBet ABA League is the 21st season of the ABA League with 14 teams from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia participating in it. 2020–21 ABA League First Division
The 2020–21 ABA League First Division was the 20th season of the ABA League with 14 teams from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia and Slovenia participating in it. The season has started on 2 October 2020. The season is the first to be played after the previous season was abandoned due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The ABA League Assembly ruled that the 12 teams from the previous season stays in the league and the first two clubs from Second Division were awarded two wild cards. The Slovenian club Koper Primorska was disqualified from the competition in December 2020 and forfeited 0–20 for all games. Defending champions Crvena zvezda mts won its fifth title following a 3–2 win over Budućnost VOLI in the 2021 Finals. Branko Lazić
Branko Lazić ( sr-cyr, Бранко Лазић, ; born 12 January 1989) is a Serbian professional basketball player and the team captain for Crvena zvezda of the Serbian KLS, the ABA League and the EuroLeague. He has also represented the senior Serbian national basketball team internationally. He has won a record seven ABA League titles. KK Koper Primorska
Košarkarski klub Koper Primorska (), commonly referred to as KK Koper Primorska, was a men's professional basketball club based in Koper, Slovenia. The club was formed by the merger of KOŠ Koper and KK Lastovka in 2016, and was disbanded in 2020 due to financial problems. Primorska became the Slovenian champions in 2019, and also won the Slovenian Cup three times in a row between 2018 and 2020. 2020–21 ABA League Second Division
The 2020–21 ABA League Second Division was the 4th season of the ABA Second Division with 14 teams from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, and Slovenia participating in it. The season has started on 9 November 2020. The season was the first to be played after the previous season was abandoned due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In accordance with the COVID-19 situation, it has been determined that the season will be played in new competition format and new calendar. Teams A total of 14 teams contested the league, including two representatives from all six ABA League countries. In cases where a club from an individual country does not apply for the 2020–21 season, the empty spot will be filled by awarding wild cards. ABA League
The ABA League, renamed the ABA League First Division in 2017, is the top-tier regional men's professional basketball league that originally featured clubs from former Yugoslavia (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia). Due to sponsorship reasons, the league was also known as the Goodyear League from 2001 to 2006, the NLB League from 2006 to 2011, and as the AdmiralBet ABA League from 2021. The league coexists alongside scaled-down national leagues in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Slovenia. Bryce Tyler Jones Jr. (born October 12, 1994), is an American professional basketball player for Igokea m:tel of the Bosnian League and the ABA League. He played college basketball for Murray State Racers. Professional career Borac Čačak (2019–2021) On 3 August 2019, Jones signed a one-year contract with the Serbian club Borac Čačak.
