History

The museum was founded in 1955, and since 2011 has been dedicated to Luigi Rossi Danielli, an architect from Viterbo. Around the cloister are a series of Etruscan sarcophagi from 4th to 3rd century BCE coming from tombs in Musarna, Cipollaretta, Norchia and Castel d’Asso. In the museum are also terracotta sarcophagi from the
