. He received his primary education at Holy Rosary School in Yauco, St Joseph School in San Germán, and Holy Spirit School in Hato Rey. He attended Matienzo Cintron School in Santurce and J.J. Osuna School in Hato Rey for his secondary education and graduated as president of his class from University High School in 1954. After graduating from high school, he entered the
