Of the 7,551 households 31.90% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 54.80% were married couples living together, 8.60% had a female householder with no husband present, and 32.90% were non-families. 28.50% of households were one person and 12.40% were one person aged 65 or older. The average household size was 2.45 and the average family size was 3.02. The age distribution was 24.70% under the age of 18, 10.80% from 18 to 24, 28.30% from 25 to 44, 21.70% from 45 to 64, and 14.50% 65 or older. The median age was 36 years.
