General elections were held in Kenya on Tuesday, 9 August 2022. Voters elected the President of Kenya, president, governors, Senate of Kenya, senators, members of the National Assembly (Kenya), National Assembly, and members of county assemblies. Mishi Juma Khamisi Mboko is a Kenyan politician and a Member of Parliament for Likoni Constituency in Mombasa County. Mishi Mboko has been a member of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), since 2017 Education Mishi Juma attended Mtongwe Primary School where she obtained Kenya Certificate of Primary Education from 1978 to 1985. She attended Likoni Secondary School where she obtained Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education from 1986 to 1989. 2017 Kenyan General Election
General elections were held in Kenya on 8 August 2017 to elect the President, members of the National Assembly and Senate. They coincided with the 2017 Kenyan local elections which elected Governors and representatives in the devolved governments. The published results showed that incumbent President Uhuru Kenyatta of the Jubilee Party had been re-elected with 54% of the vote. However, his main opponent, Raila Odinga of the Orange Democratic Movement, refused to accept the results and contested them in the Supreme Court. The results of the presidential election were subsequently annulled by the court and fresh presidential elections was ordered to be held within 60 days. The Jubilee Party of Kenya is a major political party in Kenya. It has significantly influenced the country's political landscape since its founding on 8 September 2016. Emerging from a merger of 11 smaller parties, including The National Alliance (TNA) led by then-President Uhuru Kenyatta and the United Republican Party (URP) led by then-Deputy President William Ruto, Jubilee quickly became the ruling party. 10th Parliament Of Kenya
The 10th Parliament of Kenya saw the National Assembly opened on 15 January 2008. This following the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) of Raila Odinga winning a majority in the 2007 parliamentary elections. Raila was a candidate in the presidential elections, which resulted in a controversial victory for Mwai Kibaki of the Party of National Unity. Mwalimu Masudi Mwahima
Mwalimu Masudi Mwahima (1 November 1949 – 25 August 2020) was a Kenyan politician. He belonged to the Orange Democratic Movement and was elected to represent the Likoni Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya since the 2007 Kenyan parliamentary election. Biography Mwahima was born on 1 November 1949 and grew up without attending school, receiving little formal education throughout his childhood. Despite this he learned English as well as Kiswahili, in which he was described by Kenya's ''Standard'' newspaper as having "legendary oratory skills". Mwahima began his political life in 1987 when he was elected as a councillor in Kenya's port city of Mombasa, representing the ward of Shika Adabu in the Likoni area of the city.
