Reformism

The Lebanese Parliament (, ) is the unicameral national parliament of the Lebanon, Republic of Lebanon. 17 October Revolution
The 17 October Protests, commonly referred to as the 17 October Revolution or Hirak or Thawrah (), were a series of civil protests in Lebanon that began after the Lebanese cabinet announced financial measures on 17 October 2019. 2022 Lebanese General Election
General elections were held in Lebanon on 15 May 2022 (one week earlier for overseas voters and one day earlier for ballot workers) to elect all 128 members of the Parliament of Lebanon, Lebanese Parliament. Mount Lebanon IV
Mount Lebanon IV () is an electoral district in Lebanon, as per the 2017 vote law. The district elects 13 members of the Lebanese National Assembly - 5 Maronites, 4 Druze, 2 Sunni, 1 Greek Catholic and 1 Greek Orthodox. The constituency contains two 'minor districts', Aley (corresponding to Aley District) and Chouf (corresponding to Chouf District). Political Parties In Lebanon
Lebanon has hundreds of registered political parties. After 2005, when the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafic Hariri precipitated the Cedar Revolution, the political landscape became polarized between two rival alliances, the March 8 Alliance and the March 14 Alliance. Both names refer to dates of mass demonstrations during the revolution. The March 8 Alliance was supportive of continued Syrian intervention in Lebanon, and includes Hezbollah, the Amal Movement (both majority Shia), and the Free Patriotic Movement (majority Christian).
