Career

His most notable role was that of mayor of Porsgrund municipality, a position he held in the years 1863–64, 1866, 1868–69, 1871, 1873, 1875, 1877, 1879, 1881–83 and 1885–90. He alternated with merchant Niels Mathiesen. As such Møller was vice mayor in 1862 as well as every year up to and including 1884 in which he was not mayor. He was elected to the
