Club career

Topalović began his professional football career with

in 1997, where he spent seven seasons until 2004. During his time with Zemun, he made numerous appearances in the

, signing for Esteghlal, one of the most successful clubs in the country. After a season with Esteghlal, he joined Oghab Tehran, another Iranian club that competed in the Azadegan League at the time. Topalović returned to Serbia in January 2007, signing with

during the winter transfer window. In early 2008, he signed with

International career

Topalović was capped for the

during the late 1990s. Although he did not make an appearance for the senior national team, he was considered a promising goalkeeper at the youth level.


Style of play

Topalović was known for his strong shot-stopping ability and positional awareness. Standing at 1.90 m (6 ft 3 in), he utilized his height and reach to command his penalty area, especially in aerial situations.
