Øyungen
Øyungen is a lake in the municipality of Holtålen in Trøndelag county, Norway. The lake lies about southwest of the village of Hessdalen. Holtålen is a municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is part of the Gauldalen region. The administrative centre of the municipality is located in the Ålen area of the village of Renbygda. Other villages in the municipality include Hessdalen, Aunegrenda, and Haltdalen. The municipality is the 89th largest by area out of the 356 municipalities in Norway. Holtålen is the 283rd most populous municipality in Norway with a population of 1,953. The municipality's population density is and its population has decreased by 3% over the previous 10-year period. General information The municipality of '' Holtaalen'' was established on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt law). Hessdalen
Hessdalen is a village in the municipality of Holtålen in Trøndelag county, Norway. Hessdalen also refers to the long valley that surrounds the village. Hessdalen is located in the central part of the village, approximately south of the city of Trondheim, approximately north of the mining town of Røros, and about southwest of the village of Renbygda. About 150 people live in the village and surrounding valley. Hessdalen Church is located in the village of Hessdalen and the lake Øyungen lies about southwest of the village. Trøndelag (; sma, Trööndelage) is a county in the central part of Norway.
