Ólafur Haukur Símonarson
Ólafur Haukur Símonarson, (born August 24, 1947 in Reykjavík), is an Icelandic playwright and novelist who lives in Reykjavík, Iceland. He is married to actress Guðlaug María Bjarnadóttir and they have three children. He studied interior design in Copenhagen and literature and theater in Copenhagen and Strasbourg from 1965–1972. Símonarson mainly writes for the stage and is one of the most respected and popular dramatists in Iceland. He is a very versatile writer having also written numerous novels, collections of short stories and poetry and children's books. Ólafur Þór Gunnarsson
Ólafur Þór Gunnarsson (born 25 October 1977) is a Icelandic former footballer. He played the majority of his career in Iceland and capped for the Icelandic national team against Brazil in 2002. He played football for Flagler College in the United States, where he was a three-time NAIA All-American, All-Region XIV and All-Florida Sun Conference selection. In 2016, he was inducted into the schools hall of fame. Playing career Ólafur started his senior team career with ÍR in 1994. In end of December 1997, he went on a tryout with Sheffield Wednesday. Ólafur Ingi Stígsson (born 16 December 1975) is a retired Icelandic footballer. He spent the majority of his playing career with Fylkir, making more than 150 league appearances for the club. Ólafur Indriði Stefánsson (born 3 July 1973 in Reykjavík, Iceland) is a former Icelandic handball player who, for many years was the captain of the Iceland men's national handball team but announced his international retirement after the 2012 London Olympics. Ólafur Örn Bjarnason (born 15 May 1975) is an Icelandic former professional footballer who played as a centre-back.
