''É'' is the debut album by Brazilian singer Duda Brack, released independently on 7 April 2015. It was produced by Bruno Giorgi, Lenine (musician), Lenine's son. According to Brack, she researched references for the album cover art and, two months before its release, she found a picture taken by Flora Borsi from Hungary, who told her that particular photograph had already been sold to Adobe Photoshop, but that she could use pictures from another collection, and one of them ended up becoming the final cover. Critical reception Writing for his blog Notas Musicais, Mauro Ferreira gave the album 5 stars, and called Brack "capricious", "aggressive", "incendiary" and "maddened", pointing out that she "debuted in an insane market with a suicidal album, commercial-wise". Thales de Menezes, at ''Folha de S.Paulo'', gave the album 3 out of 5 stars. He praised her voice and her performance, but noticed some hoarseness on her voice that would be typical of older singers. Duda Brack
Duda Brack, stage name of Eduarda Brack (Porto Alegre, 17 September 1993), is a Brazilian singer. In 2015 Duda Brack released her debut album ''É (album), É'' independently. It started to be developed in 2013, when she had over half the songs ready and called Bruno Giorgi (Lenine (musician), Lenine's son). In an interview for ''Veja (magazine), Veja'', Brack cited Fiona Apple, Gal Costa and Ana Cañas as references for the album. In 2017, she joined Secos & Molhados tribute band Primavera nos Dentes, along with Charles Gavin, Paulo Rafael, Pedro Coelho and Felipe Ventura. In November 2021, she released her second album ''Caco de Vidro'', featuring Ney Matogrosso and produced by her and Gabriel Ventura. Caco De Vidro
''Caco de Vidro'' (Portuguese for "Glass Shard") is the second album by Brazilian singer Duda Brack, released on 4 November 2021 through Ney Matogrosso's and Jorginho Veloso's Matogrosso and Alá Comunicação e Cultura labels; distributed by Altafonte and produced by Brack herself and Gabriel Ventura. By the end of 2020, when she presented her audiovisual project ''Uma Saga de Duda Brack'', she already planned to release the album (already titled back then) the following year. Around that time, she said the album would have funk, pagode, folk and Latin rhythms. The release is an evolution of her spectacle, which narrates the story of a woman who sets herself free from an abusive relationship through the female power. The singer described it as "an extremely female and also feminist album". Lenine (musician)
Lenine, artist name of Osvaldo Lenine Macedo Pimentel (born 2 February 1959), is a Brazilian singer-songwriter from Recife, Pernambuco. Between the years of 2002 and 2018, he has earned a total of seven Latin Grammy Awards, (including the 2005 awards for "Best Brazilian Contemporary Album" and "Best Brazilian Song"). Career Lenine's career began at the age of 18, when he moved to Rio de Janeiro to compete in a music festival. In 1983, he released his first LP, ''Baque Solto'', with partner Lula Queiroga. Ten years later, he released his second album, ''Olho de Peixe'', with percussionist Marcos Suzano.
