A border checkpoint is a location on an international border where travelers or goods Border control, are inspected and allowed (or denied) passage through. Authorization often is required to enter a country through its borders. Access-controlled borders often have a limited number of checkpoints where they can be crossed without legal sanctions. Futian Port
Futian Port () or the Lok Ma Chau Spur Line Control Point () is an immigration port of entry/ border crossing on the border between mainland China and Hong Kong, located in the Futian District of Shenzhen in mainland China. It is in the same building as Futian Checkpoint station on Shenzhen Metro Line 4, Line 10 and Huanggang Checkpoint station on Shenzhen Metro Line 7 is a short walk away. The port acts as the Hong Kong counterpart to the Lok Ma Chau Spur Line Control Point. __NOTOC__ The San Ysidro Port of Entry (aka the San Ysidro Land Port of Entry or the San Ysidro LPOE) is the largest land border crossing between San Diego and Tijuana, and the fourth- busiest land border crossing in the world (second-busiest excluding the crossings between mainland China and its two special administrative regions) with 70,000 northbound vehicles and 20,000 northbound pedestrians crossing each day, in addition to southbound traffic. It connects Mexican Federal Highway 1 on the Mexican side with Interstate 5 on the American side. The San Ysidro Port of Entry is one of three ports of entry in the San Diego–Tijuana metropolitan region. The Woodlands Checkpoint is one of Singapore's two land border checkpoints, connecting ground traffic with Malaysia. It services the vehicular traffic (cars, buses, lorries, motorcycles) along with pedestrians that goes through the Johor–Singapore Causeway. The only other Singapore land border checkpoint (Tuas Checkpoint) services the Malaysia–Singapore Second Link.
