Treasure
Treasure (from from Greek ''thēsauros'', "treasure store") is a concentration of wealth — often originating from ancient history — that is considered lost and/or forgotten until rediscovered. Some jurisdictions legally define what constitutes treasure, such as in the British Treasure Act 1996. The phrase "blood and treasure" has been used to refer to the human and monetary costs associated with massive endeavours such as war that expend both. Searching for hidden treasure is a common theme in legend; treasure hunters do exist, and can seek lost wealth for a living. Burial Buried treasure is an important part of the popular mythos surrounding pirates. According to popular conception, pirates often buried their stolen fortunes in remote places, intending to return for them later (often with the use of treasure maps). There are three well-known stories that helped popularize the myth of buried pirate treasure: " Wolfert Webber" (1824) by Washington Irving, " The Gold- ...

The Treasure (novel)
''The Treasure'' is a 1904 novel by the Swedish writer Selma Lagerlöf. Its original Swedish title is ''Herr Arnes penningar'', which means "Mr. Arne's money". It has also been published in English as ''Herr Arne's Hoard''. Set in Bohuslän in the 16th century, it tells the story of a group of Scottish mercenaries who escape from prison; they go on to murder a family to steal a treasure chest, after which one of them falls in love with the family's sole survivor. Lagerlöf based the novel on a true story that she heard told in the Solberga parish (Solbergatrakten), about a Mr. Arne who had been murdered at Solberga vicarage on February 15, 1586. Adaptations The novel has been adapted for film three times: by Mauritz Stiller in 1919 as '' Sir Arne's Treasure'', by Gustaf Molander in 1954 as '' Herr Arnes penningar'', and as ''Poklad pana Arna'' in a 1967 Czechoslovak animated short film by Václav Bedřich. ''Bone Against Steel'' is the ninth studio album by the southern rock band 38 Special, released in 1991. It was their last album until their 1997 comeback and the last album to feature the vocalist and keyboard player Max Carl. It would also be their last album with long time guitarist and founding member Jeff Carlisi and drummer Jack Grondin. The album itself was a modest commercial success and only reached #170 on the Billboard 200 album chart. However, the single "The Sound of Your Voice" (also known as "Sound of Your Voice"), was a major hit, and one of three songs co-written by Survivor's Jim Peterik for the album. The song reached #2 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart and #33 on the Billboard Hot 100 (their last Top 40 hit and last appearance on that chart to date), while the second of the three Peterik songs, "Rebel to Rebel", only reached #30 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart. It was written by Mars himself along with Philip Lawrence, Ari Levine, and Phredley Brown, while production was handled by Mars, Lawrence and Levine under the name of the Smeezingtons. Due to the similarities shared with Breakbot's "Baby I'm Yours", new writing credits were added. The song was selected as the third single by Atlantic Records and was first issued to airplay in Italy on May 10, 2013. The single became Mars's seventh top ten hit in the United States since his career as an artist began in 2010. It has also reached the top-ten in countries like Australia, Canada, France, Israel, and New Zealand. It reached the top of the charts in Libya, Mexico, and South Africa. The album is volume nine in Young's Archives Performance Series and the sixth to be released.
