Night Shift (video Game)
''Night Shift'' is a video game developed by Attention to Detail and published in 1990 by Lucasfilm Games. It is an action game where the hero is a worker in a factory owned by Industrial Might and Logic (a parody of Industrial Light & Magic). The player's character ensures that the factory is working properly as it cranks out ''Star Wars'' action figures, including those of stormtroopers and Darth Vader. The object of the game is to always ensure the factory is working properly, and to move into increasingly better homes. Development Developed by Jon Dean, Chris Gibbs, Fred Gill, John Steele, Jim Torjussen, and Martin Green, the game was first conceived as ''Fixit'', revolving around a factory worker trying to keep a machine nicknamed "Beast" from breaking down, while simultaneously needing to charge it with a bicycle-based generator every few minutes. Inspired by Gibbs' childhood love of engineering, who built upon the idea and suggested that they have the player run through ...

Juju (Siouxsie And The Banshees Album)
''Juju'' is the fourth studio album by British rock band Siouxsie and the Banshees. It was recorded at Surrey Sound studio with Nigel Gray as co-producer, and was released on 19 June 1981 by Polydor Records. Two singles were released from ''Juju'': " Spellbound" and " Arabian Knights". The album was commercially successful in the UK. It was acclaimed by critics upon its release, with praise given particularly to John McGeoch's unconventional guitar playing and Siouxsie's vocal performances. It remains a critical favourite and is seen as a landmark album of post-punk. Background After the slightly electronic bent of their previous album, 1980's ''Kaleidoscope'', Siouxsie and the Banshees returned to a guitar-based sound for ''Juju'', due to the presence of now-official guitarist McGeoch. The album also prominently featured the intricate percussion work of band member Budgie. According to Steven Severin: "''Juju'' was the first time we'd made a "concept" album that drew on ...

Rastaman Vibration
''Rastaman Vibration'' is the eighth studio album by Jamaican reggae band Bob Marley and the Wailers, released in April 1976. Critical reception Reviewing for ''Rolling Stone'' in 1976, Robert Palmer said that on the album Marley consummately performs "a dual role as spokesman for the Third World's disadvantaged and avatar of a highly commercial brand of popular music". While lacking the forceful, intricate quality of the Wailers' past line-up, "the sensitive, careful listener will learn from ''Rastaman Vibration'' something of the pain, rage and determination of Shantytown, Jamaica, and perhaps something of the community's political and cultural fragmentation as well", Palmer concluded. '' Village Voice'' critic Robert Christgau said if the record's first side "makes it seem that reggae has turned into the rasta word for boogie—even to a Trenchtown tragedy recited with all the toughness of an imprecation against litter—the unimpassioned sweetness of most of side two sound ...
