''Can't Touch Us Now'' is the eleventh studio album by the British band Madness, released on their Lucky 7 Records label through Universal Music Catalogue (UMC) on 28 October 2016. The album marked the return of founder member Mark Bedford but the departure of Cathal Smyth (Chas Smash). The album received supportive reviews from a variety of publications. For example, critic Jon Dennis of ''The Guardian'' labelled the group "legends" and described them as being "as entertaining as ever" in the release. The song "Pam the Hawk" was highlighted in particular for its lyrical themes. A special collector's edition box set version of ''Can't Touch Us Now'' was released simultaneously with the album under the title "The Greatest Show on Earth". This version was packaged to resemble a board game complete with a playable card game. It also contained a second disc consisting of demos. The Dance Brigade
The Dance Brigade are a ska band from London. Founded by Keith Finch (JA13, Crown of Thorns) and Lee "Kix" Thompson ( Madness) in late summer 2007, they were soon joined by Jennie Matthias (The Belle Stars). The other musicians came from projects they had been involved in. Their ska-based music is a hybrid of styles mixed in with technology; a 'Global Pillage' of sounds, reflecting the multi-cultural and global heritage of the band members. Their live show at the 100 club was a clash of new generation ska and visuals, with live videos running concurrently to the music, which featured computers and a live band on stage. Mike Barson
Michael Barson (born 21 April 1958) is a Scottish-born multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and composer. In a career spanning more than 40 years, Barson came to prominence in the late 1970s as the keyboard player for the band Madness. Early years Barson was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. He grew up in North London with his two brothers, Dan and Ben, who are also musicians (with Ben being one of Roland Gift's collaborators). He is often known by the nicknames "Monsieur Barso" or "Barzo". Prior to forming Madness, Barson and fellow future Madness member Lee Thompson gained some notice as graffiti artists in the mid-1970s.
