The Cathedral of the Savior ( es, Catedral del Salvador) or La Seo de Zaragoza is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Zaragoza, in Aragon, Spain. It is part of the World Heritage Site ''Mudéjar Architecture of Aragon''. The cathedral is located on the Plaza de la Seo and is commonly known as La Seo ( Aragonese for " see") to distinguish it from the nearby ''El Pilar'', whose name (pillar) is a reference to an apparition of Mary in Zaragoza (also known as Saragossa). Jorge Azcón
Jorge Antonio Azcón Navarro (born 21 November 1973) is a Spanish People's Party (PP) politician who is a city councillor (2000–2007; 2011–) and the mayor (2019–) of Zaragoza. Biography Born in Zaragoza, Azcón graduated in Law from the University of Zaragoza, where he also obtained a master's degree in Urban Planning. He then worked for MRA, a business involved in subsidised housing. He was the leader of the New Generations of the People's Party in the Province of Zaragoza and the region of Aragon. When José Atarés was mayor from 2000 to 2003, Azcón was the councillor in charge of young people, and subsequently he was the party's assistant spokesman when they were in opposition to Juan Alberto Belloch. Expo 2008
Expo 2008 was an international exposition held in the year 2008 from 14 June (Saturday) to 14 September (Sunday) in Zaragoza, Spain, with the theme of "Water and Sustainable Development". The exposition was placed in a meander of the river Ebro. It was coordinated by the Bureau International des Expositions, the organization responsible for sanctioning World's Fairs. Delicias is an urban district of Zaragoza, Spain. It is the most populated district in the municipality. It has an area of 3.284606 km2 and, as of 2020, a population of 104,389 inhabitants. An extremely densely populated working class district, Delicias welcomed in the second half of the 20th century rural migrants from Spain and, in the 21st century, foreign migrants (about a 25% of the population has foreign citizenship).
