Andelfingen District is one of the twelve districts of the German language, German-speaking canton of Zurich, Switzerland. It corresponds to the Zürcher Weinland, bounded by the Rhine to the north and west, by the canton of Thurgau to the east, by Winterthur to the south and by the Irchel to the southwest. Flaach is a Municipalities of Switzerland, municipality in the district of Andelfingen (district), Andelfingen in the Cantons of Switzerland, canton of Zurich (canton), Zürich in Switzerland. Dorf is a municipality in the district of Andelfingen in the canton of Zürich in Switzerland. The German word '' Dorf'' means “village”. History Dorf is first mentioned in 1044 as ''Dorf'', though the document that mentions this is a copy from 1347. Dorf belonged to the church parish of Andelfingen until 1699, when it became an independent Protestant parish.
