Zürcher Museums-Bahn
The Zürcher Museums-Bahn (ZMB) is a heritage railway association based in the Switzerland, Swiss city of Zurich. It operates occasional services over the Sihltal railway line, Sihltal line of the Sihltal Zürich Uetliberg Bahn, and preserves rolling stock, much of which formerly belonged to that operator. On the last Sunday of every month from April to October, a steam service is operated from Zurich Wiedikon railway station, Zurich Wiedikon station to Sihlbrugg railway station, Sihlbrugg station. The ZMB preserves a selection of former Sihltal line rolling stock, including two early steam locomotives, and a railcar and a locomotive built for the original electrification. Sihltal Railway Line
The Sihltal railway line () is a railway line in the Swiss canton of Zürich, which connects the city of Zürich with the communities of the Sihl Valley. Passenger service on the line now forms part of the Zürich S-Bahn, branded as that network's service S4, and is part of the Zürcher Verkehrsverbund (ZVV) zone-based fare network. The line was opened in 1892 and electrified in 1924. Zurich Wiedikon Railway Station
Zürich Wiedikon railway station () is a railway station on the Zürich S-Bahn system in Wiedikon in the western part of the Swiss city of Zürich. It is the only railway station in Switzerland where the ticket office building is located on a bridge above the tracks – in German, this is known as Reiterbahnhof. Sihlbrugg Railway Station
Sihlbrugg is a former railway station in the Switzerland, Swiss Canton of Zürich. It was closed permanently in December 2012, and there are no passenger trains scheduled to stop at the station since then. The station was the Terminal station, terminus of the Sihltal railway line, Sihltal line of SZU (ZVV S4) from 1897 to 2006. Although named after the hamlet of Sihlbrugg, the station is actually located nearly north of the village, in the municipality of Horgen.
