Züm
Züm (, pronounced Zoom) is a bus rapid transit system for the suburban city of Brampton, Ontario, Canada, northwest of Toronto, operated by Brampton Transit. Three routes extend into the Cities of Mississauga, Vaughan, and Toronto, with the first corridor having started service in fall 2010. Phase 1 became fully operational by fall 2012. A key aspect of the Züm plan is increased service on supporting local corridors. Unlike other, similar, services and partly due to Brampton's diagonal geographic position relative to Toronto than other suburbs such as Mississauga or Vaughan, many Züm corridors will overlap significantly with other agencies' services, requiring more complex, co-operative planning between neighbouring cities. 501 Züm Queen is a bus rapid transit route in Brampton, Ontario that is part of the Züm network. The route first began service on September 20, 2010, and runs between the Downtown Brampton Terminal in the west to the Toronto Transit Commission's Vaughan Metropolitan Centre station in Vaughan in the east. It runs along Queen Street in Brampton and continues along Highway 7 in Vaughan. 501 Züm Queen shares routing with York Region Transit's Viva Orange bus rapid transit route between Martin Grove Road and Vaughan Metropolitan Centre, and has been fare integrated with it since its creation. 505 Züm Bovaird is an express bus route in Brampton, Ontario. This route began service on September 2, 2014. The headways are 15-17 minutes during peak periods, 16 minutes during weekends, and 20 minutes during weekday off peak. This route does not operate during early mornings on Sundays and late evenings on all days. This route duplicates service with 5 Bovaird and 5A Bovaird (between Mount Pleasant GO and Airport Road) before turning south and duplicating with the 30 Airport Road, and 5A Bovaird. After terminating at the Airport Loop (Queen Street & Goreway Drive) during the route's initial run, a southern extension along Airport Road was added on September 4, 2018. 511 Zum Steeles is a bus rapid transit route in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. The final corridor outlined in Phase 1 started service on November 26, 2012. The route runs from the Brampton Gateway Terminal at Steeles Avenue and Hurontario Street to Humber College North Campus at Finch Avenue West and Highway 27 in Toronto with connections to the planned Line 6 Finch West line and various express bus services, via Bramalea GO Train Station. Though largely industrial through Brampton, Steeles Avenue sees bus service every six minutes on current route 11. This is the only planned corridor to operate almost entirely within Brampton city limits. Viva Orange is a line on the Viva bus rapid transit system in York Region, Ontario, Canada. The route primarily runs in an east–west direction along the Highway 7 Rapidway in Vaughan. Humber College is a below-grade light rail transit (LRT) station that is under construction on Line 6 Finch West, part of the Toronto subway system. The station is located at the southwest corner of Highway 27 and Humber College Boulevard on the Humber Polytechnic North Campus in the Etobicoke district of Toronto. Mississauga City Centre Transit Terminal
The City Centre Transit Terminal in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada is the main transit hub and bus station for MiWay, the city's public transit system. The station is situated in Mississauga City Centre at the north side of Square One Shopping Centre. Prior to 2024, buses using the terminal displayed "Square One" on their destination signs. Buses use the upper level, while access from the mall is through the lower level via a signalized crosswalk (no indoor connection), where a taxi stand and kiss and ride are located.
