Zvoncekova Bilježnica (Serbian Cyrillic: Звонцекова Биљежница; trans. ''Zvoncek's Notebook'') is a Serbian punk rock/hardcore punk band from Aranđelovac. History The band was formed in 1988 by the former Kralj Vuk member Svetislav Todorović "Tozza Rabassa" (vocal) with Darko Branković (backing vocals), Dejan Novaković "Fumarone" (bass), Dragan Vesković "Vesko" (drums), Dragan Mitić "Mita" (guitar) and Vlada Janković "Tripon" (guitar). By the end of 1988, the band had already started performing live and released their official demo release, studio release, ''Lorka nije pisao moju pesmu'' (''Federico García Lorca, Lorca Did Not Write My Song''). Aranđelovac
Aranđelovac ( sr-cyr, Аранђеловац, ) is a town and a municipality located in the Šumadija District of central Serbia. , the municipality has a population of 41,297 inhabitants, while the town has 22,881 inhabitants. It is situated beneath the mountains Bukulja and Venčac, at about above sea level, away from Belgrade. The municipality encompasses two towns and 18 village communities. Paraf was a punk rock and later post-punk band from Rijeka, Croatia, known as one of the pioneers of punk rock in the SFR Yugoslavia. History Punk rock years (1976-1980) Following the expansion of punk rock in Europe, teenagers Valter Kocijančić (guitar, vocals), Zdravko Čabrijan (bass) and Dušan Ladavac "Pjer" (drums) formed Paraf in 1976. They played their first gig at Belvedere in Rijeka on December 31, 1976. The band's early live appearances were at Rijeka high-school parties along with the bands of similar musical orientation, Termiti, Protest and Lom. Arsenal Fest ( sr-cyr, Арсенал Фест) is a summer music festival held in Kragujevac, Serbia. It is staged annually since 2011 and occurs for three days every late June. History When it started in 2011, the festival had only a single stage. The next year, 2012. the festival got its second stage – "Zastavina bašta", later renamed as "Garden Stage". The third one, "Red Bull Stage" was put in use in 2013, but renamed next year as "Explosive DJ Stage". In 2011, the festival had 14,000 visitors. In 2012, it was visited by 15,000 people. Novembar ( sr-Cyrl, Новембар; ) is a Serbian punk rock band from Niš. History Studeni Studeni, band formation (1986–1991) During the late 1980s, one of the most promising former Yugoslav bands from Zagreb, Studeni Studeni (trans. ''Cold November''), were formed in 1986. The band recorded only an EP, ''Čisto kao suza'' (''Bright as a Teardrop''), released in 1990, before disbanding in the early 1990s, due to the outbreak of the Yugoslav wars. The band's frontman, guitarist and vocalist Goran Kostić moved to Niš, during the Summer of 1991, and immediately started playing bass guitar in a band called Glas Amerike. Petar Janjatović (born June 30, 1956 in Belgrade) is a Serbian author, journalist, and music critic. Biography Janjatović was born in Belgrade on June 30, 1956. Journalism As a teenager, he contributed to Radio Beograd show ''Veče uz radio'' (''Evening by the Radio''). Indexi was a Bosnian and former Yugoslav rock band popular in Yugoslavia. It formed in 1962 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and disbanded in 2001 when singer Davorin Popović died. Some of their most notable songs are "Svijet u kome živim" and "Negdje u kraju, u zatišju" with lyrics by Želimir Altarac Čičak, "Plima", "Sve ove godine", "Sanjam" and "Bacila je sve niz rijeku", which was later covered by many other ex-Yugoslavian groups, notably Crvena jabuka. Gavrilo Princip
Gavrilo Princip ( sr-Cyrl, Гаврило Принцип, ; 25 July 189428 April 1918) was a Bosnian Serb student who assassinated Archduke Franz Ferdinand, heir presumptive to the throne of Austria-Hungary, and his wife Sophie, Duchess von Hohenberg, in Sarajevo on 28 June 1914. The assassination of the Archduke and his wife set off the July Crisis, a series of events that within one month led to the outbreak of World War I. Alluvial Plains
An alluvial plain is a plain (an essentially flat landform) created by the deposition of sediment over a long period by one or more rivers coming from highland regions, from which alluvial soil forms. A '' floodplain'' is part of the process, being the smaller area over which the rivers flood at a particular time. In contrast, the alluvial plain is the larger area representing the region over which the floodplains have shifted over geological time. As the highlands erode due to weathering and water flow, the sediment from the hills is transported to the lower plain. Various creeks will carry the water further to a river, lake, bay, or ocean.
