Zsuzsa Almássy
Zsuzsa Almássy (born October 8, 1950 in Budapest) is a Hungarian former figure skater. She is the 1969 World Figure Skating Championships, 1969 World bronze medalist, a three-time European Figure Skating Championships, European medalist, and a five-time Hungarian Figure Skating Championships, Hungarian national champion. She competed at three Winter Olympics, placing 17th in Figure skating at the 1964 Winter Olympics, 1964, 6th in Figure skating at the 1968 Winter Olympics, 1968, and 5th in Figure skating at the 1972 Winter Olympics, 1972. She was coached by Arnold Gerschwiler. Richmond Trophy
The Richmond Trophy was an international figure skating competition for Single skating, ladies' singles held annually from 1949 to 1980 at the Richmond Ice Rink in Twickenham, London. It was the only invitational international competition (as opposed to the ISU Figure Skating Championships, ISU Championships) held on a regular basis in the post-war years. The competition was sponsored by the National Ice Skating Association, National Skating Association and was largely due to the activity of Arnold Gerschwiler, coach of many champions at the Richmond rink. At the last event in November 1980, participation was down to only eleven competitors, attributed to scheduling conflicts with the growing number of other international competitions such as Skate Canada International. Prize Of Moscow News
The Prize of ''Moscow News'' (), also known as the Moscow Skate, Nouvelles de Moscou, and the Moscow News Trophy, was an international, senior-level figure skating competition held in the Soviet Union from 1966 to 1990 (excluding 1989, in 1990 was an international competition for the Prizes of the Gosteleradio USSR in Odessa, which became the legal successor of Prize of Moscow News competition). It was held annually in Moscow in December and effectively was the predecessor to the Cup of Russia ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating event. The winners received a "Crystal Skate" statuette. FISU World University Games Gold Medalists For Hungary
The International University Sports Federation (FISU; ) is responsible for the organization and governance of worldwide sports competitions for student-athletes between the ages of 17 and 25. It was founded in 1949 as the world governing body of national university sports organizations and currently has 165 member associations (National University Sport Federations) from five continents. Between 1949 and 2011, it was based in Brussels (Belgium); it was relocated to Lausanne (Switzerland) since 2011. The FISU stages its events every two years.
