Zoran Savić (soccer)
Zoran Savic (; born 13 August 1959) is a retired Serbian American soccer player who played at the forward position. He played professionally in the first Major Indoor Soccer League. He later played in the second and third American Soccer League then the American Professional Soccer League and the American Indoor Soccer Association. He is a professional coach and previously was an assistant coach at Sporting Kansas City of Major League Soccer. Playing career In 1980, Savic signed with the Buffalo Stallions of the Major Indoor Soccer League and played two seasons with the team. In 1981, he played outdoor soccer with the Cleveland Cobras. On June 18, 1982, he was signed with the Kansas City Comets of Major Indoor Soccer League and played two seasons with the team. In May 1983 he joined the Oklahoma City Slickers of the American Soccer League. On July 31, 1987, Zoran signed with the Los Angeles Lazers. Gornji Milanovac
Gornji Milanovac ( sr-Cyrl, Гoрњи Милановац, ) is a town and municipality located in the Moravica District of central Serbia. The population of the town is 23,109, while the population of the municipality is 38,985 (2022 census data). The town was founded in 1853. Before 1859 the original name of the town was Despotovica ( sr-Cyrl, Деспотовица), after the Despotovica river passing by the town. In 1859 the name was changed to Gornji Milanovac at the request of the Prince of Serbia Miloš Obrenović. The Kansas City Attack, previously the Atlanta Attack and later known as the Kansas City Comets, were an indoor soccer team based for most of its existence in Kansas City, Missouri. In its various incarnations the franchise played in the National Professional Soccer League from 1989–2001 and the second Major Indoor Soccer League from 2001–2005. The Memphis Storm was an American soccer team based in Memphis, Tennessee which existed from 1986 to 1994. They underwent several names changes including the Rogues, the Survivors, the United Express and finally the Jackals. They played in the American Indoor Soccer Association, and the Sunbelt Independent Soccer League, which later came to be known as the United States Interregional Soccer League. American Professional Soccer League
The American Professional Soccer League (APSL) was a professional men's soccer league with teams from the United States and later Canada. It was formed in 1990 by the merger of the third American Soccer League with the Western Soccer League. It was the first outdoor soccer league to feature teams from throughout the United States since the demise of the North American Soccer League in 1984. The league was sanctioned as Division II in the United States soccer league system but was the country's '' de facto'' top professional soccer league until 1995. In 1993, the APSL applied for the vacant Division I role but lost out to Major League Soccer who would begin play in 1996. The Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL), known in its final two seasons as the Major Soccer League, was an indoor soccer league in the United States that played matches from fall 1978 to spring 1992.
