Zoran Kalabić
Zoran Kalabic dipl. oec, MBA (Paracin) is a Serbian businessman who has lived in Vienna since 1987. He is involved in projects promoting the preservation of the Serbian language, culture and tradition abroad and in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. In 2001, he was awarded the golden medallion Nikola I Petrović Njegoš, N. I Petrović by Government of Montenegro for special merits in promoting Montenegro in Austria. For special merits in strengthening relations between the Serbia, Republic of Serbia and the Austria, Republic of Austria in the field of public and economic activities, he was decorated by the decree of the President of Serbia with the Order of Karađorđe's Star in 2023. Youth and education Zoran Kalabić was born in Paraćin. In his youth, he boxed at BK Kablovi in Jagodina, becoming the Serbian welterweight champion. Paraćin
Paraćin ( sr-Cyrl, Параћин, ) is a town and municipality located in the Pomoravlje District of central Serbia. Located in the Velika Morava river valley, north of Kruševac and southeast of Kragujevac, the town had a population of 22,349 in 2022. It also has a civilian airport. History There is a Neolithic archaeological site in the village of Drenovac. Basarabi pottery from the 8th Century BC depicting a domestic rooster was discovered near the town. The Roman fort at Momčilov Grad produced a great number of coins of Byzantine Emperor Justinian (525–565). The medieval town of Petrus was granted by Emperor Dušan to the local župan Vukoslav. NATO Bombing Of Yugoslavia
The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) carried out an aerial bombing campaign against the Serbia and Montenegro, Federal Republic of Yugoslavia during the Kosovo War. The air strikes lasted from 24 March 1999 to 10 June 1999. The bombings continued until an agreement was reached that led to the withdrawal of the Armed Forces of Serbia and Montenegro, Yugoslav Army from Kosovo, and the establishment of the United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo, a UN peacekeeping mission in Kosovo. Knez (singer)
Nenad Knežević (Serbian Cyrillic: Ненад Кнежевић; born 5 December 1967), better known as Knez, is a Montenegrin singer, based in Belgrade, Serbia. Best known for his 1994 hit "Dal' si ikada mene voljela" (''Have You Ever Loved Me''), he rose to fame as a 1990s dance-pop singer. Obrenovac
Obrenovac ( sr-cyr, Обреновац, ) is a municipality of the city of Belgrade. According to the 2022 census results, the municipality has a population of 68,882 inhabitants, while the urban area has 25,380 inhabitants. The old name for Obrenovac was Palež.
