Zookeeper (film)
''Zookeeper'' is a 2011 American fantasy comedy film directed by Frank Coraci, written by Kevin James, Nick Bakay, Rock Reuben, Jay Scherick, and David Ronn, and produced by James, Adam Sandler, Jack Giarraputo, Todd Garner, and Walt Becker. The film stars James in the title role, with Rosario Dawson and Leslie Bibb, alongside the voices of Nick Nolte, Sylvester Stallone, Sandler, Don Rickles (in the final film he finished before his death on April 6, 2017), Judd Apatow, Cher, Jon Favreau, and Faizon Love. It is about an unlucky zookeeper who turns to the talking animals at his zoo to help him find love. Filming began in Boston on August 17, 2009. It was the first MGM film to be co-produced with Happy Madison (as well as their first production to be released after the company had filed for bankruptcy the year prior), though the film, like a majority of the Happy Madison output, was distributed by Columbia Pictures. Frank Coraci
Frank Coraci (born February 3, 1966) is an American film director and screenwriter best known for his work with actor Adam Sandler. Biography Coraci was born in Shirley, New York. In 1984 he graduated from William Floyd High School, where he was on the wrestling team for several years. In 1988 he graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. He has directed three successful films with Adam Sandler ('' The Wedding Singer'', '' The Waterboy'' and ''Click'') and several music videos for the actor.
