Zoltán Kovács (politician, Born 1957)
Zoltán Kovács (born 1 December 1957) is a Hungarian jurist and politician, member of the National Assembly (MP) for Pápa (Veszprém County Constituency III then IV) since 1998. Kovács also served as Mayor of Pápa between 1990 and 2011. Career He finished his secondary studies in the Türr István Grammar School in Pápa. He graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Eötvös Loránd University in 1982. He worked as a lawyer between 1982 and 1990 in Pápa. Kovács was elected to the City Council of Pápa in 1985. He was one of the founders of the local branch of Fidesz in 1988. He is a member of the party's Electoral Board since 1993. He unsuccessfully ran for a legislative seat in the 1990 and 1994 parliamentary elections. He served as president of the Fidesz in Pápa between 1997 and 2000. Zoltán Kovács (born 9 February 1969) is a Hungarian historian and politician. He is Viktor Orbán's spokesperson and Hungary's Spokesperson of the Government of Hungary, international spokesperson. Early life and education Kovács was born in Abaújszolnok during the Hungarian People's Republic era. He graduated from Endre Ságvári High School in Kazincbarcika in 1987. He began his university studies in 1988 at the University of Debrecen, specializing in history and geography. In 1990, he became member of the István Szabó College. Between 1991 and 1992, Kovács was a demonstrator at the Institute of History of Lajos Kossuth University. He began his master's studies at Central European University (CEU) in 1992. Zoltán Kovács (ice Hockey)
Zoltán Kovács (born 2 January 1962) is a Hungarian ice hockey coach and administrator. He joined the Hungarian Ice Hockey Federation as a secretary in 1994, then served as its general secretary from 1998 to 2017, and has served as its vice-president since 2017. He played for the Hungary men's national junior ice hockey team in 1980, and was its manager in 2003 when the team earned promotion to Division I of the IIHF World U20 Championship. He played professionally for Ferencvárosi TC, and sat on several International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) committees. The IIHF named Kovács as the 2020 Paul Loicq Award recipient for contributions to international hockey. Playing and coaching career Kovács was born on 2 January 1962, in Budapest.
