Zlatan ( sr-Cyrl, Златан) is a male given name of Slavic origin meaning ''Golden''. The name is common amongst all South Slavic countries, namely in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, North Macedonia and Serbia. Zlatan Saračević (born 27 July 1956) is a retired Bosnian shot putter who represented SFR Yugoslavia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Zlatan Muslimović (; born 6 March 1981) is a Bosnian former professional footballer who played as a forward. Early career As a teenager, Muslimović played for the Swedish teams Habo IF and Husqvarna FF. He went on to play for the Swedish team IFK Göteborg youth team in 1998 and 1999, before coming to Italy in 2000. He is also a coach, having spent time working with Torslanda and the Olé Football Academy in New Zealand. Slatan Theodor Dudow (, Zlatan Dudov; 30 January 1903 – 12 July 1963) was a Bulgarian-born German film director and screenwriter who made a number of films during the Weimar Republic and in East Germany. Zlatan Čolaković (February 13, 1955 – 2008) was a Croatian Homerist, philologist and researcher. He graduated with a degree in Comparative Literature and Philosophy (1979), finished his Masters (1982) and completed his Doctorate in 1984 at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Philosophy. From 1984-1988, as a Fulbright scholar, he worked with Albert Lord at Harvard University in Milman Parry Collection, the Slavic division of the Widener Library. He lectured at Harvard University and at Waterloo University in Ontario, Canada.
