Zimbabwean Cricket Team In Bangladesh In 2018–19
The Zimbabwe cricket team toured Bangladesh in October 2018 to play two Tests and three One Day International (ODI) matches. Bangladesh won the ODI series 3–0. Bangladesh's regular Test captain, Shakib Al Hasan, was unavailable due to injury. Therefore, Mahmudullah was named as captain of the squad in his absence. Originally the tour was scheduled to take place in January and February 2019. However, in May 2018, it was announced that the series could be moved to October 2018, because of security concerns around the Bangladeshi general election, scheduled to take place at the same time. In July 2018, both the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) confirmed that it would be brought forward to October 2018. Mohammad Mahmudullah (; born 4 February 1986), also known as Riyad, is a former international Bangladeshi cricketer and former captain for the side in T20I and test matches. He plays for Dhaka Division and has represented the national team in all formats. An all-rounder, he is a lower or middle-order batter as well as an off spin bowler. He has scored more than 10,000 runs and taken 150+ wickets in international cricket. He is renowned for his ability to finish a close limited over game. Shafiul Islam Suhas (; born: 6 October 1989) is a Bangladeshi cricketer. A right-arm fast-medium bowler, Shafiul has played for Rajshahi Division since 2006. Pakistani Cricket Team In Zimbabwe In 2013
The Pakistan national cricket team toured Zimbabwe from 23 August to 14 September 2013. The tour consisted of two Twenty20 International matches, three One Day International matches, and two Test matches. The limited overs matches was played at the Harare Sports Club while the Test matches were split between Harare and the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo. The series was originally supposed to take place the previous December but was postponed as it clashed with Pakistan's tour of India after the two countries decided to resume bilateral cricketing relations. The second Test match was originally scheduled to take place at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo but was moved to Harare as a cost saving measure.
