Zhang Daqian
Chang Dai-chien or Zhang Daqian (; 10 May 1899 – 2 April 1983) was one of the best-known and most prodigious Chinese artists of the twentieth century. Originally known as a '' guohua'' (traditionalist) painter, by the 1960s he was also renowned as a modern impressionist and expressionist painter. In addition, he is regarded as one of the most gifted master forgers of the twentieth century. Background Chang was born in 1899 in Sichuan Province to a financially struggling but artistic family, whose members had converted to Roman Catholicism. His first commission came at age 12, when a traveling fortune-teller requested he paint her a new set of divining cards. At age 17 he was captured by bandits while returning home from boarding school in Chongqing. Zhang Hai Yuan (born June 12, 1977) is a Chinese track and field athlete. Zhang represented the People's Republic of China at the 2004 Summer Paralympics in Athens, where she won gold in the long jump (F42 disability category), setting a new world record with a jump of 3.67 metres. In 2006, Zhang competed at the FESPIC Games in Kuala Lumpur, and won set a world record in the pole vault, winning gold. Zhang Yu'an (; born March 4, 1984) is a Chinese television personality and radio host, who is currently active in South Korea. He was a cast member in the talk show ''Non-Summit'' and its spin-off travel-reality show, ''Where Is My Friend's Home''. Zhang Yuan (; born 28 January 1997) is a Chinese professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Chinese Super League club Beijing Guoan. Club career Early career Zhang Yuan joined Dalian Aerbin's youth academy in 2013 after Dalian Shide dissolved. He was loaned to Portuguese side Mafra in the summer of 2013 and joined Loures in 2015. Top Combine is a Mandopop boy band. The group formed in 2007 with the members Bird Zhang, Mars Ma, Kenny Liu, Caesar Li, and Tanas Kim. All were professionally trained in singing, dancing, modeling, and language. Yuan Chang (; born 17 November 1959) is a Taiwanese-born American virologist and pathologist who co-discovered together with her husband, Patrick S. Moore, the Kaposi's sarcoma-associated herpesvirus (KSHV) and Merkel cell polyomavirus, two of the seven known human oncoviruses. Early life and education Chang was born in Taiwan and moved to the United States as a young child. She was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from Stanford University and then a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Utah College of Medicine.
