Zilog Z8
The Zilog Z8 is a microcontroller architecture, originally introduced by Zilog in 1979. Today the line also includes the Z8 Encore!, eZ8 Encore!, eZ8 Encore! XP, and eZ8 Encore! MC families. Signifying features of the architecture are up to 4,096 fast on-chip registers which may be used as accumulators, pointers, or as ordinary random-access memory (RAM). A 16-bit address space for between 1 kibibyte (KB) and 64 KB of either programmable read-only memory (PROM, OTP), read-only memory (ROM), or flash memory, are used to store code and constants, and there is a second 16-bit address space which can be used for large applications. On chip peripherals include analog-to-digital converter (A/D), Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) and Inter-Integrated Circuit ( I²C) channels, IrDA encoders/decoders etc. There are versions with from 8 up to 80 pins, housed in dual in-line package (PDIP), Quad Flat No-leads package (MicroLeadFrame, MLF), small outline integrated circuit ... Z-machine
The Z-machine is a virtual machine that was developed by Joel Berez and Marc Blank in 1979 and used by Infocom for its text adventure games. Infocom compiled game code to files containing Z-machine instructions (called story files or Z-code files) and could therefore port its text adventures to a new platform simply by writing a Z-machine implementation for that platform. With the large number of incompatible home computer systems in use at the time, this was an important advantage over using native code or developing a compiler for each system. History and design Nomenclature and conventions The "Z" of Z-machine stands for ''Zork'', Infocom's first adventure game. Infocom used file extensions of .dat (Data) and .zip (ZIP = Z-machine Interpreter Program), but the latter clashed with the widespread use of .zip for PKZIP-compatible archive files starting in the 1990s, after Activision had closed Infocom. Infocom produced six versions of the Z-machine. Files using versions 1 a ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |

The Nikon Z8 is a high-end full-frame mirrorless camera produced by Nikon. The camera was announced on May 10, 2023. It is the tenth Z-mount camera body and the seventh full-frame Z-mount body. Features The Z8 has the same 45.7 MP stacked CMOS sensor as the Z9, with identical autofocus and video capabilities to the Z9, but in an around 30% smaller body, comparable to that of the D850, but approximately 100 grams lighter. Aircraft (civilian and military) were added to the subject detection autofocus. The camera utilizes an electronic shutter with speeds up to 1/32000 sec and includes 5-axis in-body image stabilization. The battery is the same EN-EL15 series used in the Z5/6/7 and various DSLRs; the much larger EN-EL18 batteries for the Z9 and D4/5/6 DSLRs cannot be used. HEIF was added as a recording format. The magnesium alloy and a new material developed by Teijin give it the same dust and water resistance as the D850. Firmware version 2.0 introduced Auto Capture (automati ... BMW Z8
The BMW Z8 is a Roadster (automobile), roadster produced by German automotive manufacturer BMW from 1998 to 2003. The Z8 was developed under the codename "E52" between 1993 and 1999, through the efforts of a design team led by Chris Bangle from 1993 to 1995. The exterior was designed by Henrik Fisker and the interior by Scott Lempert. The Z8 originally was designed as a styling exercise intended to evoke and celebrate the 1956–1959 BMW 507. Prototypes were spotted testing between 1996 and 1999. A concept was later developed to preview the Z8, called the Z07 and was showcased in October 1997 at the Tokyo Motor Show#1997, Tokyo Motor Show. Z07 Concept The Z07 Concept had been based on the concurrently running E52 development programme. As a result, practical and regulatory considerations necessitated very few changes for the production model. Comparatively, the windshield of the series production Z8 was more upward, and the car had a larger front airdam. The Z8 hardtop differed ...
